As a Christian artist, I’m inspired daily by God’s creation. From the human soul in its complex form, to every creature great and small, to the vibrant colors He paints in nature, all in fine detail.

I was born an artist, and was blessed to receive the best of both worlds from both of my parents. My beautiful mother was gifted with musical talent and a keen eye for art, and my father is a gifted visual artist in Guadalajara. As a little girl growing up in Northern New Mexico in the 1970’s, my fondest memories of art were my little drawings of horses that filled my school notebooks. Throughout the years of my life, creating art has continued to be my passion.
 

A sense of peace overwhelms me when I'm alone in my studio. My goal is to create art that is spiritually profound and is able to tell a story and stir up emotion. Each piece on this website is special to me, and is inspired by Scripture or by God's perfect little creatures - reflecting their beauty and grace, some of which are incorporated into the life of Jesus. Through soft color, sacred symmetry, and tender form, I seek to capture the details that speak life.

My art is but a humble reflection, flawed by my human hands, of what the Master Artist has already spoken into existence. What is seen on canvas is not mine, but a whispered praise to the One who formed the heavens, sculpted the seas, and breathed life into dust. ~ With Love and Gratitude, Diahann
